Naomi Litvack

My painting practice centres around landscape, memory and sense of place. The work touches upon themes including history, cultural geography, post colonialism and phenomenology. Memory weaves through the work and provides wide ranging narrative possibilities. Landscape in my practice becomes a meeting place between culture and wilderness.

I am currently Artist in Residence at St Mary’s School, Calne, and completed my MFA at Belfast School of Art in 2018. I was co-director at Platform Arts, Belfast, an artist-led gallery and studio group, from 2016-17. I have exhibited widely nationally and internationally and I was Greywood Arts’ inaugural artist in residence in 2017.
